The new district built in Milan, in the south-eastern part of the Lombard capital, is an area where you can count many new features. We are in the area near the Milano-Rogoredo station, the Santa Giulia area and close to the exit of the east ring road.

The project started in 2017, as a redevelopment of the district, is one of the largest Social Housing projects in Italy: a new idea of eco-sustainable living, which puts people and the community at the center. In addition to the almost 20 residential buildings, the project aims to realize:

These 600 new apartments are destined for the Social Housing project, developed by Beretta Associati and MAB Arquitectura, and promoted by Investire Sgr Spa, in collaboration with Fondazione Housing Sociale.
They are large social housing apartments intended in part for sale and in part for renting with an agreement or social rent.

In addition to the benefits of the monthly rent per apartment, it is important to underline the importance given to eco-sustainability: this project represents the most important realization of a system of load-bearing structures made entirely of wood.
The eco-sustainable framework is completed by 117 class A apartments, therefore low energy consumption and other services such as:

  • community living;
  • green spaces for horticulture;
  • green roofs;
  • renovation of a farmhouse for community and neighbourhood services.

The new district of Merezzate is therefore based on four fundamental pillars:

  • Environment;
  • Architecture;
  • Technology;
  • Community.

A place that aims to foster opportunities for relationships and sociality in an environment of the latest generation of architecture attentive to climate and sustainability issues.
